Coverage will begin on the first of the month following completion of the initial premium payment. This initial payment is equal to one full month's premium. After the initial premium payment, taken at the time of your enrollment, monthly premiums will be automatically taken from your account on the 15th of each month. (Example: I purchased the Dental Plan on April 12th, the initial premium payment is deducted that day, and coverage will be effective on May 1.)

If you enroll in the plan AFTER the 15th of any month, your initial premium payment will be taken upon enrollment and be applied on the first of the following month. Coverage will begin the first of the month following the month the initial payment is applied to. The time following the initial premium payment allows for your information to be transmitted to the insurance company and for cards to be ordered and mailed. (Example: I purchased the Dental Plan on April 23rd, and an initial premium payment was deducted. This premium will be applied to May, and coverage will be effective on June 1.)

You should receive a Dental Plan card on or before the effective date when coverage begins. If you do not, please call Harrington Health at 800-235-7160 ext. 84766 or ext. 84802.
